Dominion Securities\u2014initially focused on bonds, then stock trading in the first half of the 20th century\u2014grew to become a national investment services company. Three years later, RBC Royal Bank obtained 100 percent ownership of Dominion Securities Inc. Also in 1996, Dominion Securities purchased Richardson Greenshields, which had an existing insurance agency.
